Last minute addition to Baltimore Comic Con: GARTH ENNIS
EDITOR’S NOTE: If you were looking for one more reason to visit the Baltimore Comic Con, this could be it for you. For me, it’s like icing on the cake. Always look forward to hearing from Garth Ennis, a great commentator and observer of society’s quirks and foibles . . . . BALTIMORE, MARYLAND - September 23, 2017 - The Baltimore Comic-Con is in full swing at the Baltimore Convention Center. Tickets are available at the door, and we open at 10am today and tomorrow. |
We have had a last-minute addition to the show: Garth Ennis! Garth Ennis broke into the American Comic scene in 1991, taking over the writing reins on Hellblazer. After a successful four-year run, Ennis moved on to create Preacher, a 66-issue epic that ran from 1995 -2000, which is currently enjoying a television adaptation on AMC. In addition to these two ground-breaking series, he also had lengthy runs on DC's The Demon, Hitman, and The Boys, a 72-issue story which began at DC's Wildstorm imprint before moving to Dynamite Entertainment with issue #7. Recently, you can find him writing AfterShock Comics' Jimmy's Bastards, Avatar Press' War Stories, Marvel's Punisher: The Platoon, and DC Comics' Dastardly and Muttley. |
Ennis will be appearing Saturday only from 2pm-3pm. Be sure you don't miss this limited opportunity to meet one of comics' greats! |
